10 Privacy Act (Commonwealth) 1988 – Collection Notice

Buyer’s Advocate Australia Pty Ltd uses personal information collected from you in order to act as your Buyer’s Advocate and to perform the obligations under this Agreement.  Buyer’s Advocate may also use such information collected to promote their services and/or seek potential clients.

Buyer’s Advocate may disclose information to other parties including sellers agents, parties engaged to evaluate the property or business (as the case may be), solicitors, tradespeople, body corporate, financial institutions, government and statutory bodies and third parties as required by law on the acceptance of the client.

Buyer’s Advocate will only disclose information in this way to other parties as required to perform their duties under this Agreement, to achieve the purposes specified above or as otherwise allowed under the Privacy Act.

If you would like to access this information, you can do so by contacting Buyer’s Advocate at the address and contact numbers contained in this Agreement.  You can also correct this information if it is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.

Real estate and tax law requires some of this information to be collected.  If the information is not provided, your Buyer’s Advocate may not be able to act effectively act on your behalf or at all.
