A buyer’s advocate or buyer’s agent is a person appointed to represent and assist a buyer during the purchase of a property and conducts proper due diligence to ensure a successful outcome on behalf of their client.

We are located in Kew, Victoria.

We primarily purchase within a 30km radius of the CBD, however we often purchase in areas outside of this depending on our client’s needs.

Yes, we welcome overseas clients and would be more than happy to assist.

No, however we can recommend mortgage brokers and financial planners/advisors.

We offer several purchasing services. Our main services are:

Sourcing and Property Selection: Whereby the buyers advocate does all of the legwork on behalf of the buyer. From sourcing, analysing, negotiating and bidding, it’s all covered by the Buyers Advocate.

No, as a company we have over 30 years of experience in property selection and acquisition. We work solely for the buyer, therefore the buyers best interests are always represented and there are no potential conflicts of interest. We provide honest, independent and objective advice to ensure you are well informed and are more than happy to tailor our services to suit the buyer as we understand everyone is different.

Yes, we offer a free no-obligation consultation to discuss our services with you. You’re welcome to visit at our office, or we can come to you.

No, we understand that time and location constraints sometimes do not permit a meeting and we are happy to conduct the service via email, phone and Zoom or other online platforms.

At Buyer’s Advocate, we pride ourselves on listening to our client’s needs. Prior to commencement of our service, we like to meet with you to discuss your specific requirements and agree the appropriate fee upfront.

This depends upon your criteria and whether it is a home or an investment purchase, however on average, from the time of engagement to securing a property can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 45 days depending on market conditions.

Your retainer is required to be paid within 7 days of the invoice date and your success fee is payable within 7 days after the contract on the property becomes unconditional.
